Week Eleven
This article goes over ten reasons of why people should use public transportation. The article also says that if you don't use public transportation in your area because you have a problem with it or don't like something about it then to write a letter to get it changed or fixed. Unless you tell people there is something wrong, things will not be changed. All you need to do is give input to help make public transportation right for you.
This article goes along so well with my research because it doesn't just show the benefits that come from using public transportation. It shows why everybody should use public transportation. It also really applies to my research because it shows that you can make a stand to get public transportation changed so it will work better for you and your community.

Week Ten
This article goes over the amount of money that can be saved by people using public transportation. The article says that the transit system helps people to get to their jobs. The more populated the city is, the more public transportation is used. Public transportation needs to have stops at places where a lot of people are employed at. This helps to cut back on parking problems as well.
This article is useful to my research because it actually puts public transportation into real life. The amount of money that is saved through public transportation goes perfectly into my papers. This article can help provide more detail for my research because it gives real life examples.

Week Nine
This article talks about the disadvantages of using public transportation. There are four specific disadvantages in this article about public transportation. The disadvantages are convenience, privacy, space, and routing. All of the points brought up with these four areas are very valid and true, however there are ways to fix all of these supposed disadvantages.
This source can be used to help show why people are against using public transportation. With the information with this source, points can be brought up to rebuttal them. Even after reading this article, public transportation is still very beneficial and has way more advantages than disadvantages.

This article is about public transportation health benefits. This article goes over several different benefits that public transportation offers. Public transportation lowers emissions that are put into the atmosphere by vehicles. It lowers the amounts of traffic crashes and when there are crashes, they are not as fatal. Public transportation can allow money to be saved. It also increases the physical fitness of those who use it and allows them to get in better shape.
This article can definitely be of use in my essay because it gives so many great details and examples of the different benefits. The article also includes many different graphs and charts that I can use to help show the data. The statistics and numbers that are included in this article would also be helpful to use in my paper.

Week Seven
The first article talks about the benefits that public transportation has. Public transportation reduces congestion on the roads and saves fuels. It also enhances personal opportunities. Public transportation saves the users money and it reduces the carbon footprint. This article also tells what the many types of public transportation are.
The second article also talks about the benefits of public transportation. Public transportation benefits users because it makes them more active. Public transportation is also more safe than normal vehicles and it reduces stress for the users. Riding public transportation saves money and keeps the air cleaner. Public transportation also give you opportunities that will help you in your future.
Both of these articles talk about the fact that using public transportation saves money. Money is saved by not having to pay for gas, car repairs, oil, and parking fees. The most important thing that both of these articles talk about is the carbon footprint is lessened because of public transportation. Public transportation has so many benefits.

Week Six
This article talks about the negatives of public transportation. Public transportation is very irregular and the times are always changing. Sometimes the bus or train or whatever is very dirty. There is also a possibility of getting robbed by others who are riding the same public transportation you are. Public transportation vehicles also have malfunctions and this can delay you.
I can use this article to help me when writing my essay because it shows the reason why people do not want to use public transportation. I can use this article to come up with ways that reject these ideas. There are many more positives than negatives when it comes to public transportation and this article can help me to prove that.

Week Five
This article is saying that as of right now transportation is taking up so much energy. With the way things are going now, transportation is not sustainable at all. There needs to be a change made and quickly so that transportation will become more efficient. The article says, "Transport was further discussed as part of the Plan of Implementation at the World Summit on Sustainable Development where countries agreed to promote an integrated approach to policy making including policies and planning for land use, infrastructure, public transport systems and goods delivery networks, with a view to providing safe, affordable and efficient transportation, increasing energy efficiency, reducing pollution, reducing congestion, reducing adverse health effects and limiting urban sprawl."
The article is important to my research because it shows that there needs to be a change made in order to make transportation more sustainable. This will be useful to use in my paper because it shows that people realize something needs to happen to make transportation more sustainable.
